Introduction To Tunisian Crochet

Learn a centuries-old crochet technique called Tunisian...the crochet stitch that looks like knitting! Crafters are introduced to Tunisian diagrams, symbols, and abbreviations as they learn how to create a foundation row and the Tunisian Simple, Knit, Reverse, and Purl stitches as they work up a set of beaded mug rugs.

Materials needed:

·       Afghan hooks: K & L 
·       1 skein of #4 medium-worsted acrylic in a medium solid color (Option: purchase 3 different colors if the individual wants to use a different color on each mug rug.)  
·       Scissors, stitch marker, darning needle

Class must have at least 2 people signed up for class to happen. Last day to sign up will be 3 days before class. 

Skill Level: Intermediate
Skill Details: Must already know basic crochet skills including chain, single crochet, etc
Materials Included: no
Requirements: Must already know how to crochet. Please bring supplies with you or purchase at the store ahead of time. Please be on time. Class will start on time.

Instructor Bio: JoAnn has crocheted for almost 40 years and is a Level II Certified Crochet Instructor through the Craft Yarn Council. She is currently working toward her Masters of Advanced Stitches & Techniques through the Crochet Guild of America
