Learn to Knit Cables

Skill Details: You must know how to cast on, bind off, knit and purl.

Requirements: Supply list; one skein of medium worsted weight (size 4) yarn, choose a smooth yarn out of wool, cotton, or acrylic 1 pair of size 7 knitting needles, aluminum or wood 1 cable needle 1 crochet hook, size g or 4.5mm Scissors and tapestry needle Pen or pencil Homework; Cast on 20 stitches and knit at least two rows in stockinette stitch ending on a knit row.

Instructor Bio: My crafting life started when my Mother taught me to knit when I was five. I love making things and find knitting especially soothing. I also crochet and dabble in different types of embroidery. I am from Denton and have lived there most of my life. I spent a few years in the Navy where I was stationed in Japan. I returned home last year and started pursuing a degree in accounting.
